Landslide in northwest China's Gansu kills 21, search for trapped completed

(ECNS) -- A landslide struck a township in Tanchang County, Longnan City, northwest China's Gansu Province, on Tuesday morning, killing 21 people, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The landslide occurred at Renzang Village in Nanhe Township at around 6:56 a.m., burying 33 people in the debris.

Search for the trapped through the debris has been completed, authorities said.
