The Maodong Cave and Ata Gorge along the Youshui River in Laifeng County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei province, has attracted numerous visitors with their picturesque scenery. The Youshui River, a tributary of the Yuanjiang River which flows into Dongting Lake in the Yangtze River basin, runs 484 kilometers through Hubei, Chongqing and Hunan.
