(W.E. Talk) Former Malaysian Ambassador to China: ASEAN must tailor economic growth and build energy security

(ECNS)-- ASEAN countries should leverage their distinct industrial advantages to pursue context-specific development, while vigorously advancing green energy to safeguard national energy security, noted Dato Abdul Majid, President of the Malaysia-China Friendship Association and former Malaysian ambassador to China.

Majid also suggested that China has, with full wisdom, foreseen this many years ago. He said that it was precisely this "vision" that enabled China to weather the Iran energy crisis.
