Assessment Report on the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea released

(ECNS) -- The Assessment Report on the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) was published in Beijing on Tuesday.

The report noted that the UNCLOS is a legal achievement of the post-war era, serving important functions in upholding multilateralism, opposing hegemony, fostering cooperation, and advancing sustainable development for the seas and oceans.
