Recently, the "Explore People-Centered Cities: China's Governance, Global Engagement (Shanghai and Jiangsu)" event, organized by China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invited foreign diplomatic envoys to visiting multiple sites such as the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou City, East China's Jiangsu Province, to gain an in-depth understanding of local traditional intangible cultural heritage and the practical achievements of China's people-centered urban governance philosophy.
During her visit to Jiangsu, Koula Sophianou, Ambassador of Cyprus to China, was deeply impressed by the hospitality of the local people and spoke highly of Jiangsu's development achievements, where technology and cultural heritage complement each other.
She noted that young local scientists in Jiangsu are actively engaged in innovation in frontier fields such as robotics and drones, and that relevant urban governance policies adhere to a people-centered approach, making urban life more accessible and warmer.
