At least four volcanoes erupt on same day in Indonesia(1/3)

At least four volcanoes, including Mount Anak Krakatau, Mount Semeru in East Java, Mount Ili Lewotolok in East Nusa Tenggara, and Mount Ibu in North Maluku, have all experienced active eruptive pulses.

Seven airports remained closed on Monday morning because of volcanic ash from eruptions at Mount Anak Krakatau, with 170,000 people being affected by flight cancellations, according to the country’s transport ministry.
