(ECNS) -- About 80 percent of field inspection tasks in Shenzhen can now be conducted remotely, China Southern Power Grid said Tuesday at the 2026 International Digital Energy Expo.

The company’s visual monitoring platform manages 160,000 cameras and can access more than 60,000 municipal video feeds in Shenzhen, allowing operators to conduct remote inspections while AI helps identify potential hazards.
