4th Weifang food expo draws record 516 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions

(ECNS) -- The 4th Weifang International Food and Agricultural Products Expo opened at the Lutai Convention and Exhibition Center in east China's Shandong Province on Tuesday, drawing 516 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions and more than 2,000 buyers, with the numbers of exhibitors, visitors and buyers all hitting record highs, according to the organizer.

The expo features eight specialized exhibition areas, including an international exhibition area, a Shandong Premium Products and Weifang Agricultural Products area, and a snack foods and time-honored brands area. Exhibits cover the entire agri-food industry chain, showcasing quality products and advanced technologies.

The expo runs through Thursday. During the event, nine special activities will be held, including the second Agricultural Service Trade Global Business Center Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference and an exchange meeting on technological innovation that empowers the high-quality development of the agri-food industry.

These activities cover trade matchmaking, brand launches, technological empowerment and industry-education integration.
