International alliance against telecom fraud to be launched in September

(ECNS)— China will host the founding conference of an international alliance against telecom and online fraud in September, during the 2026 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in Lianyungang, east China's Jiangsu Province, the Ministry of Public Security said Thursday.

Executive Vice Minister Qi Yanjun said telecom fraud cases in China have declined for nine consecutive months since October 2025.
