(ECNS) -- The 9th China Robot Summit opened on Wednesday in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, bringing together more than 2,000 industry experts and enterprise leaders to fast-track the real-world deployment of embodied artificial intelligence.
During the event, industry organizations unveiled a standardized framework for evaluating embodied AI capabilities and launched a national collaborative platform for healthcare robotics. Organizers also released a development report outlining a phased roadmap to help Chinese robotics companies expand into global markets.
Discussions focused on how to bridge cloud-based AI algorithms with physical capabilities. Experts said the large-scale deployment of embodied robots depends on breakthroughs in three key areas: high-speed data transmission, wide-area environmental perception, and precise physical control in dynamic environments.
Organized by the China Association of Mechatronics Technology and Applications, the summit also featured 35 tech enterprises showcasing their latest industrial, service, and humanoid robots.
