Where do rumors about the suppression of Tibetans and Uygurs in some Western countries originate? American journalist Jason Smith answered that, in order to damage China and its cohesion, the U.S. government has dumped a lot of money to support groups attempting to split China's Xizang and Xinjiang, and has even bribed some scholars to fabricate lies.

Regarding these rumors, Smith said in the latest episode of "News Lounge" that if people visit the places themselves, they can find that 99% of the things heard in the West are doomed to collapse.
