Southwest China's Yunnan province reached foreign trade volume of 33.11 billion yuan ($4.84 billion) in the first two months of the year, with countries along the Belt and Road accounted for 70.5 percent, according to the local customs office.

The province's foreign trade volume in the first two months grew by 22 percent year-on-year and its volume with the Belt and Road countries registered a year-on-year rise of 7.9 percent during the same period, according to the customs.

Statistics also show that trade with ASEAN countries has made the largest share of Yunnan's total foreign trade volume from January to February, and the province saw the biggest year-on-year increase of 120 percent in trade with countries in Latin America.
