This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of Sao Paulo State University . At the invitation of the university, Mo Yan visited Brazil to conduct lectures and author dialogues. This is Mo Yan's second visit to Brazil.
Mo Yan, a pen name for Guan Moye, is a novelist best known for his earthy tales of rural life in China, including Red Sorghum and Frog.
