Gold prices fall below $4,000 again

(ECNS) -- International gold prices fell below $4,000 per ounce again on Thursday evening.

As of 9:50 p.m., London spot gold hit an intraday low of $3,973.41 per ounce, down 2.13% at its lowest point. COMEX gold touched $3,977.1 per ounce, down 1.84% at its lowest point.

Meanwhile, silver prices also fell. Spot silver was down 3.43% to $55.78 per ounce.
