26 dead, 7 missing after reservoir breach in south China's Guangxi

(ECNS) -- A reservoir breach in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has left 26 people dead and seven others missing, local authorities said on Thursday.

At a flood control and disaster relief press conference, officials said that as of 11 a.m Thursday, the disaster caused by the breach of the Liulan Reservoir had resulted in 26 fatalities, with the identities of five victims still to be confirmed.
