Hong Kong's foreign currency reserves hold steady at $445.9 billion

(ECNS) -- Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserves remained unchanged at US$445.9 billion at the end of June, according to data released Tuesday by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).

The HKMA said the total foreign currency reserve assets represent over five times the currency in circulation or about 38% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
