Namibian President arrives in China for state visit

(ECNS) -- At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah of the Republic of Namibia will pay a state visit to China from July 5 to 11, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Friday.

Nandi-Ndaitwah arrived in Guangzhou on Sunday.

This marks President Nandi-Ndaitwah's first visit to China since she took office as Namibia's head of state.

The visit is expected to elevate China-Namibia relations to new heights.
