China reaches semifinals of AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup

(ECNS) -- China defeated Uzbekistan 2–1 on Saturday night to advance to the semifinals at the AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup held in Thailand and secured direct qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup to be held in Poland this September.

During the group stage, Team China won all three matches, scoring six goals without conceding, and advanced as the top team in their group.
