The National Museum of China is hosting the exhibition "Li Jingxun and Her Era" in Beijing, showcasing hundreds of cultural relics that vividly depict the political system, economic exchanges, social life, and ethnic integration of the Sui Dynasty (581-618).
An epitaph unearthed from Li Jingxun's tomb outlines her prominent lineage: Her maternal grandfather was Emperor Xuan of Northern Zhou (557-581) Yuwen Yun, and her grandmother Yang Lihua was both empress of Northern Zhou and the eldest daughter of Emperor Wen of Sui Yang Jian.
