One Chinese citizen killed in Tehran amid military conflict, Chinese FM confirms

(ECNS) - A spokesperson for China's Foreign Ministry said at a press conference that a Chinese citizen was unfortunately killed in a military conflict in Tehran.

"We express our condolences for the deceased compatriot and extend our sympathies to the family of the victim," spokesperson Mao Ning said.

The Foreign Ministry has instructed the Chinese embassy in Iran to provide assistance to the persons involved and their family members, she added.
