The port city has built a new wooden walkway of 4,200 meters, which will connect with the existing 7,500-meter-long one to create China’s longest walkway, extending from a boat dock to a wetland in Beidaihe. For many people, Qinhuangdao is well known more for Beidaihe, a summer resort 258 km from Beijing and boasts fine stretches of sand more than 20 km long.(Photo: China News Service/Cao Jianxiong)
