The port city has built a new wooden walkway of 4,200 meters, which will connect with the existing 7,500-meter-long one to create China’s longest walkway, extending from a boat dock to wetlands in Beidaihe. For many people, Qinhuangdao is best known for Beidaihe, a summer resort 258 km from Beijing, which boasts fine beaches more than 20 km long.(Photo: China News Service/Cao Jianxiong)
