(ECNS) -- An imperial outfit decorated with 50,000 pearls is on display at Southern Peal Museum in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The crown is mounted with about 3,800 pearls and the boots with about 11,300.
The entire costume weighs about 40 kilograms.
The outfit is a life-size duplicate of the original one collected at Beijing Museum for a Ming Dynasty emperor.
