China's Guangdong Province reported four new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, the provincial health commission said.
All four confirmed cases were reported in the provincial capital Guangzhou, according to the health commission.
Guangdong on Wednesday also reported three imported confirmed cases and 11 imported asymptomatic carriers.
By Wednesday, Guangdong had reported a total of 2,657 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,101 imported ones. Currently, 218 patients are being treated in hospitals, said the health commission.
