Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins are seen for the first time in the sea areas of Shantou, Guangdong Province recently. (Photo/VCG)

While surveying on May 14, 2021, researchers from the Third Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources unexpectedly observed over 200 Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins play in groups in this sea area.
