Chinese weightlifter Wang Zhouyu pocketed a gold medal in the women's 87kg weightlifting event at the Tokyo Olympic Games on Monday. Wang succeeded on a snatch of 120 kg and a clean and jerk of 150 kg for a total of 270kg.

Zhang broke the world record with 466 points to win the men's 50m rifle 3 positions in his Olympic debut here on Monday, winning the fourth gold for the Chinese shooting squad in Tokyo.
