DeepSeek seeks civilengineering talents for its IDC datacenter team

(ECNS) -- Chinese AI company DeepSeek has posted a new round of full-time job openings for its IDC data center team, covering data center infrastructure operations, planning and design, and on-site implementation, with talents majoring in civil engineering being qualified for some of the positions.

According to DeepSeek, the team is developing the underlying infrastructure needed to support future AI agents. Within these facilities, power, cooling, networking and computing systems will be closely integrated, directly affecting the overall output and efficiency of computing resources.

The company said it aims to explore the physical and engineering limits of data center systems, pushing the boundaries of efficiency, reliability, automation and resilience.

For young engineers applying for infrastructure- and design-related positions, DeepSeek lists electrical engineering, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), environmental engineering and civil engineering among the eligible academic backgrounds.
