Magnitude 4.8 earthquake hits Taiwan

 

(ECNS) -- A magnitude-4.8 earthquake hit Xinbei City of China's Taiwan at 8:36 p.m. on Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 95 kilometers, was determined to be at 24.94 degrees north latitude and 121.82 degrees east longitude.
