U.S. city council rep. on 'China Shock': Human cooperation for each other’s betterments always a good thing

Some Western media have hyped the so-called "China Shock" narrative, alleging China's trade growth costs American manufacturing jobs.

Questioning the legitimacy of such a claim, Sandesh Sadalge, council representative of Tacoma City in the United States, asked a question: Is the U.S., a major exporter, taking away the jobs of others?

He added that people everywhere just want good products to improve their lives. "When humans are working and cooperating together for each other's betterments, that is always a good thing," he said.
