(ECNS) -- The "Qinghai Special Products Fair," held as part of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation River-Source Dialogue, was launched at Xinning Square in Xining City, Qinghai Province on Friday.
The fair showcased local handicrafts and distinctive cultural products from Qinghai, alongside goods from countries in the Lancang-Mekong River Basin.
A handcrafted “guardian of the plateau”snow leopard family artwork has emerged as a highlight of the event.
Gengga Qiuji, an representative inheritor of the Tibetan hand-weaving technique as an intangible cultural heritage project in Qinghai Province, spoke highly of this cultural emblem of Xining.
“Snow leopards are auspicious animals. May they bring joy and good fortune to everyone," she said.
