The State Council Information Office held a press conference on Tuesday on China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation, as well as the upcoming China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the China-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit will be held in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from September 17 to 21.

From bilateral trade between China and ASEAN surpassing $1 trillion to AI opening up new space for cooperation, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo, under the theme "CAFTA 3.0 Opportunities, Better Life," will showcase how China and ASEAN can expand cooperation and turn new opportunities into tangible results.
