Insights丨China's dual circulation model boosts Global South ties: UN official

China's dual circulation strategy is a “very strategic choice” that strengthens both domestic resilience and global engagement, said Navid Hanif, assistant Secretary-General for Economic Development in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs, during an interview with China News Network.

He emphasized that practical cooperation and knowledge exchange—via technology transfer, investment, and skills training—in renewable energy, public health, and vocational training, alongside partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, create new opportunities for development in the Global South.

He urged that this initiative be sustained and strengthened to elevate South–South cooperation. (Chen Tianhao)
