Due to several days of heavy rainfall, Liulimiao town in Huairou District, Beijing, was hit by mountain floods, affecting multiple villages. Roads, power, and communications in some areas have been damaged. Following the disaster, rescue teams quickly were mobilized to assist, evacuating affected residents and delivering emergency supplies.

Some villages in Liulimiao Town are located on higher mountain slopes. With certain mountain roads currently impassable to vehicles, firefighters have to hike up the mountains to reach those in need.
