As autumn approaches, a stroll along 7.8-kilometer Beijing Central Axis feels like unrolling the pages of a vivid historical scroll. Each landmark tells a tale of time: the weathered stones of Yongding Gate, the lively bustle of Qianmen Street, the golden sunset over the corner towers of the Forbidden City, and the fading twilight around the Bell and Drum Towers.
