(ECNS) -- China has recently issued its first 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) dedicated to the protection and preservation of cultural heritage, aiming to promote the systematic conservation of cultural heritage, according to a news conference held on Tuesday.
The plan aims to strengthen cultural heritage governance by improving the capacity and effectiveness of protection efforts.
It calls for a comprehensive approach to cultural heritage conservation, underpinned by laws and regulations, informed by surveys and inventories of cultural heritage resources, and supported by initiatives to preserve and promote China's fine traditional culture, an official said at a press conference of the State Council Office.
