Former Pakistan's ambassador on 75th anniv. of bilateral relations with China: Bridging differences to forge a remarkable friendship

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, former Pakistan Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi sat down for an exclusive interview with News Lounge of China News Network, in which he talked about the time-honored Pakistan-China friendship.

He said that mutual trust remains the DNA of Pakistan-China bilateral relations. This friendship is not limited to government-to-government ties; it is deeply rooted in the business, education and media sectors, as well as among ordinary people of both countries.

Despite differences in political systems, languages and cultures, and amid a complex international landscape, Pakistan and China always support each other, he added.
