Tiangong Ultra robot sets 100m record at World Humanoid Robot Games

(ECNS) -- Tiangong Ultra claimed the championship in the large-size 100-meter race at the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games on Wednesday, setting a new record of 8.64 seconds.

In the final showdown, the Tianxiao Team finished runner-up at 8.65 seconds, and the Fenghuo Shandian Team took the bronze medal with 8.83 seconds.

Organizers said the record highlights advances in humanoid robot speed and coordination, underscoring the growing role of robotics in competitive and applied settings.
