The main forum will cover topics including NEV development toward the 2035 target, innovation-driven growth, and the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Themed forums will focus on areas such as AI-powered vehicles, battery applications, vehicle grid interaction and international standards. Closed-door meetings will bring together policymakers, international organization leaders and global automakers to discuss key industry challenges.

He Wei, deputy director of CAST’s International Cooperation Department, said the NEV industry is pursuing high-quality development, with countries seeking deeper cooperation in technology, supply chains and standards. The World New Energy Vehicle Development Organization, established during the 2025 congress, will serve as an organizer for the first time, further strengthening the event’s role as a global exchange platform.
