Endangered pelicans rest in East China city(1/5)

Migrating dalmatian pelicans rest at a wetland in Yancheng city, east China’s Jiangsu province, March 23, 2015. This is the second time that photographer Sun Huajin has shot photos of 68 dalmatian pelicans at the wetland. In 2013, seventy-two dalmatian pelicans were also photographed there. Dalmatian pelicans have been included on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Bird Species, according to experts in Yangcheng city. (Photo provided by Sun Huajin)
