18th Chinese escort naval fleet makes 1st operation (4/4)

Doctors examines the patient on Chinese navy's Changbaishan warship on the sea on Aug. 30, 2014. The 18th Chinese escort naval fleet made a successful operation for an acute appendicitis on Aug. 31. It is the first operation for the fleet. The patient is a crew member of Yuncheng warship. The Chinese fleet is in an escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters. (Xinhua/Zhang Yuelin)
