People's Liberation Army Navy Marine Rescue Detachment Mobile Salvage Squadron is founded in 1958, which is the first underwater rescue and salvage troop of the PLA Navy. The squadron has accomplished rescue missions for more than 1,300 times, has salvaged more than 160 vessels in distress and has rescued more than 10,000 people in danger.
