Inscribed plaques of periods from the Southern Tang (937-975) to the Republic of China (1912-1949) are seen in a private collection room owned by an antiquer in Wuping county of Southeast China's Fujian province. The collector has gathered over 2,000 ancient Chinese plaques featuring scripts of Chinese calligraphy masters. As a part of ancient Chinese architectures, plaques and the calligraphy on them can take viewers onto an epic voyage of the Chinese culture. [Photo/ Zhang Bin]
