Verdict for 68 defendants of serious online gambling case announced (1/4)

Defendants of one of China's largest online gambling cases which involves 484 billion yuan ($78 billion) in stakes, appear in a court of Guangzhou, Guangdong province to hear verdict on July 3, 2014. According to the judgment, The 68 defendants received jail terms from 17 months to nine years. The court also imposed fines ranging from 50,000 yuan to 20 million yuan on the defendants.
