Commemorative stamps and envelopes featuring paintings of China's Grand Canal are issued on June 23, 2014 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. The postal products are issued to celebrate the south-north canal’s winning of world heritage status granted by the UN cultural agency UNESCO on June 22, 2014. The 1,794-kilometer Grand Canal, linking Beijing and Hangzhou, is the longest artificial waterway in the world and runs through eight provincial areas involving 35 cities.
