The China-Africa ties (1/2)

China and Africa have enjoyed a strong friendship since 1956. Fifty of the 54 African countries have established diplomatic relations with China, and China has been providing Africa with infrastructure support and financial aid.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in March that China has contributed to over 1,000 projects in Africa so far, with no political conditions attached.
