Two grassland stone figures discovered in Xinjiang (1/2)

Two grassland stone figures are discovered at Tekes county of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, according to the local relics protection bureau on April 15, 2014. Stone figures are mainly discovered on the grassland in north Xinjiang, such as Ili and Altai. Therefore they are named "grassland stone figures"．The stone figures are generally placed in front of the herdsmen's tombs．More than 200 stone figures are discovered in Xinjiang and 72 of them are found in Tekes county.
