Paper-cutting works by young folk artist Chang Yangyang (1/8)

Chang Yangyang (R) gives a paper-cutting lesson at a primary school in the Mengjin County of Luoyang City, central China's Henan Province, Jan. 2, 2014. Dubbed as an "eccentric" amongst other peers who work outside hometown to earn money, instead, 23-year-old Chang Yangyang stay still and take a pair of scissors by him at his hometown Mengjin County of Luoyang City, central China's Henan Province. All day complained by an extremely-worried mother over his future livelihood, however, Chang firmly replied:"I want to live my own life." Chang was a young folk artist renowned for his great skill in paper-cutting at his hometown. His featured creations by which he won prizes in various contests embody the characteristics of the age. With an increasingly-famed reputation, Chang started to volunteer to give paper-cutting lessons at local primary schools, through which he wanted to encouraged more youngster to inherit and develop this traditional folk art.
