Lhasa sets up collective center to take in stray dogs (1/6)

A dog at the city collective center of stray dogs waits to be fed in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, Jan. 2, 2013. The collective center, which was completed at the end of 2013, started taking in stray dogs in Lhasa as the New Year arrived. More than 600 stray dogs have been housed by the noontime of Thursday. The center is established to prevent disease transmission and protect local residents. (Xinhua/Chogo)
