Photo taken on October 22, 2013 shows The Gate of the Orient, which has been slammed as a "giant pair of underpants" by Chinese netizens, is near completion in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. The Oriental Gate is 301.8 meters high and has 69 storeys. The construction started in September 2004 and was designed by British RMJM. It was meant to be the Arc de Triomphe with an Oriental twist, but many Chinese netizens think it resembles a pair of long underpants. [Photo/CFP]
