Giant panda Huahua goes viral online

Hua Hua, a nearly 3-year-old female panda at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan Province, became an online sensation recently because of her intelligence. And the base became one of the top destinations during the May Day holiday with around 269,000 visitors. 　

It took at least 2 hours to wait in a queue to meet her for 3 minutes during the May Day holiday, a visitor said. A Japanese television program reported the popularity. 　 Chengdu Research Base also registered huahua-themed panda trademarks used in clothing, seed breeding, education and entertainment.
